John L. Gililland, Jr., M.D., FACOG
 Dr. John L. Gililland completed his medical degree at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in 1982, and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Arizona Health Sciences Center in 1986. After practicing general Obstetrics and Gynecology for three years as a physician in the United States Army, he completed a two-year research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. During that time, he discovered the presence of Atrial Natriuretic Peptide receptors in human endometrial tissue and evaluated the effects of various hormones on the expression of those receptors. He received two awards for that research.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Gililland served as an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and as Chief of the Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility service at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1993, he joined Dr. Andreyko at Pacific Fertility Medical Center - Sacramento and practiced there until he joined Northern California Fertility Medical Center (Offering IVF and Other Infertility Treatment Options) in September 1997.
Dr. Gililland is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology, and serves as Northern California Fertility Medical Center's webmaster.
