We just had a new pug puppy in the last few months and are just wacky about him. She is 8 wks. old and her name is Madison.The problem we are having with her is the dreaded housebreaking

Generally a pugs temperament changes from day to day which is turning out to be a constant worry all the time You should see what she looks like when we both have to leave to go to work, she has such a long face on her.

Our small pug has days that she moans, goes to the door and the whole nine yards. If she desires 100% attention she dashes across to her puppy pad as fast as her little legs will carry her, it is hysteric to watch

We have left every stone unturned to assist her to go to toilet .For some uncanny reason she wont even approach her puppy pad or the door depending on what temper she is in.We can take her away to do her duty and maybe she will then come back in the house and conceal to do it over again

We took her to the veterinarian for a check up thinking maybe she had lice as pug dogs do get lice --negative on that.We haven't changed anything in her diet, she's not fed off the table, her reward for doing good is a treat piece of dog bone for pups

Now she is starting to do her jobbies in her dog taxi which I cant work out, I am sure I saw on television that pug puppies are known to do this . She gets to go out every 2 hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed . At night we take her out just before bed time and bring her out first thing in the morning, A month or so ago she had the chance to go on her puppy pad but refused to take me up on the offer.The nervy little monkey even went so far as to pee on my husbands shirt, to say he was unhappy would be an understatement

We never raise our voice at her just simply take her out and tell her to go on the grass.What can we do to remedy this Should we just opt between the pad and outside or will that frustrate her even more.We must have done something to make her start at the beginning again.Please give us some stimulus.I don't want to consider myself a loser but it is looking like that at the instant.
